" Bye bye...."

Today is very special to me ..... my darling has done something he never did in his life... and today he did it...and that was the moment I was expecting so much since 30 May 2007. Sven has waved his first "bye bye" ......

Hubby and I taught Sven to wave "bye bye" for quite some times, but he seemed just does not bother at all. Today, he suddenly waved his hand when hubby was cuddling him. Initially we thought that was a coincidence. We tried to ask him to do that again. Out of our surprise, he waved his hand when we said "bye bye"...that was fantastic!

I am very glad and grateful that Sven's is growing very well and this is what every parents hoping for. What is the my nine-months old baby capable of?

Physically, he
- responses to "bye bye".
- likes to pull tissues out of tissue boxes with his fingers.
- likes to get involved during mealtimes.
- likes to crawls around on all fours.
- enjoys water play.
- holds on to sofa and moves around.
- enjoys opening drawers.
- enjoys exploring handbags and any other bags.
- can lower himself slowly from a standing position.

Socially, emotionally and linguistically, he
- recognises his name with certainty.
- shows frustration.
- play independently for short period of time.
- responds to "No".
- say "baba" and "mama" unintentionally.
- can link actions to a person and/or sound to an object or animal.

I am looking forward to see more and more progress from him! I really enjoy being a mum and will definitely mark the memorable moment here.

Enjoy your parenthood(for those who has become parents)!!

Hopefully this sharing moment would be able to enlighten and enliven your lifes. After all, life is just about sharing and giving, don't you agree?

Today, I will start my sharing with some household tips.

How to defrost the frozen meat(by not using the microwave)?
Have you ever experienced whereby you come to a situation of thinking to cook for your family or your love one but the meat that just taken out from the freezer was still frozen like a rock. And very unfortunately the microwave that you have was not functioning at that moment. You can overcome this problem by just using the salt (yes..the ordinary salt for cooking used)...
1. Put the frozen meat into a container.
2. Pour some salt on the meat.
3. In less than 15 minutes, the frozen meat will be completely defrosted and you may start with your cooking.

How to maintain the color of your new jeans?
Did you aware that sometimes the color of our new jeans will be fade after few rounds of washing? Here is an easy way to maintain the color of the new jeans ..
1. Put some salts (yes, again the same salt use for cooking ) into the plain water.
2. Soak the newly bought jeans into the water (with salt) overnight.
3. Rinse the jeans with plain water in the next morning .

How to clean the dust on the TV or monitor screen?
You may find it very effective by just using the denier stocking to clean the dust on the TV or monitor screen.
1. Switch off the TV and monitor.
2. Wipe the screen with the denier stocking from the center to outer direction; after that from outer to the center direction.

Ok, that's all for today. I will try to post the next sharing asap..
